A lifeguard with lightning reflexes has been praised for her almost immediate rescue of a struggling child in a packed swimming pool. The little boy was sitting in a rubber ring when the wave machine was turned on, and he was quickly flipped out by the swell. Unable to resist the strong current, he repeatedly sunk under the water level.
